In today's day and age, privacy seems to be on everyone's mind, but what is privacy exactly? In order to kick off this blog I want to ask three questions:
1. What exactly is privacy?
2. What does it mean?
3. Should we be guaranteed privacy in our daily lives?
2 comments:
1. Privacy is the guaranteed right of all humans to be left alone
2. Privacy means that your personal information should be rightfully protected and that no one else should be able to access that information unless you give them strict permission to
3. We should absolutely be guaranteed privacy in our daily lives
Privacy is a basic right, however, having complete privacy would disrupt an entire society of people...At the same time, having too little privacy would make for a society that is extremely difficult to live in.
Privacy is more of a requirement than for it to be guaranteed. I think it's a necessity in the world that we live in today, even though more and more of our information ends up in public domains, like the internet, that we meant to keep private. The internet, I feel, changes the definition of privacy in many ways.
